Our Journey
We started our initiative during lockdown to support farmers in selling fresh milk and value added products, particularly focusing on chhenapoda. Our founder, Abinash Dash, who is a highly active rural enterprise development trainer, was approached by a group of farmers struggling with the marketing of their fresh milk. He decided to create pure value added products without sugar and other harmful ingredients, leading to a successfull strategy aimed at urban premium customers. However, there were several challenges in branding and packaging, which led us to launch our new brand, Matihandi Chhenapoda. We specialize in preparing pure value added products that cater to an urban lifestyle, ensuring they are free from sugar and maida. Our diabetic-friendly, gluten-free chhenapoda products are a unique offering in Odia cuisine.
